Strategic Advisory Engagements

The majority of members will choose to develop and implement their own legacy strategies and plans using the materials provided on this site, but some families may prefer to proceed from the courseware to a project within their families supported by one or more members of our expert team. This support can take the form of a short high level audit of the family’s current challenges and priorities within the overall framework of issues. It may also focus on one or another limited number of specific challenges or opportunities the family faces. If a larger number of family members are to be involved, or in a more complex or longer engagement, experienced professional advice may be sought to help to manage the process and ensure all members of the family are learning and contributing as appropriate as the family moves forward. In other cases, an independent and objective third party can help to address sensitive issues and test possible outcomes without the emotional history that family membership inevitably brings. As a Raffles Legacy Learning member, you also have the opportunity to discuss a more comprehensive Strategic Advisory Engagement* with our experts. While our Customized Learning Programs focus on tailoring educational material to your family, a Strategic Advisory Engagement goes beyond pure education and creates a relationship with one or more of our advisors to proceed effectively and efficiently from the start to the completion of the project. Through an immersive initiative with our expert consultants, an such a full engagement we will help you analyze, develop, document and implement your own legacy strategy.

What to expect

We work closely with your family leaders to identify where your family needs support, help you define a strategy and implement an action plan to achieve your goals. The first step in an advisory engagement guides you through a discovery process to help determine your unique family needs. After the discovery phase, we can offer specific guidance on strategy development, decision making and implementation in any or all of the Integrated Legacy Strategy subject areas.
