Strategy: A Step-by-Step Guide to the Development and Presentation of World Class Business Strategy as reviewed by the Harvard Business School:’ We like Strategy because it’s a comprehensive sum-up of popular strategies to date as well as a sturdy jumping-off point for crafting a strategy that suits your organization. Perhaps unique among strategy guides it also expends pages on the human element of strategy making and execution—dubbed here not as “the soft stuff” but as “the even harder stuff.” And it’s important for a book to make that link: A good strategy needs good leadership to carry it off.’- Harvard Business School (Working Knowledge)

It really doesn’t get more complete than this book.. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to know all about strategy. Best Strategy book ever! (from Amazon five star review) by Mark Daniell  superior to all the books I read so far about this topic.

China’s Century: The Awakening of the Next Economic Powerhouse, edited by Lawrence Braham, was a far-sighted collection of essays describing the likely forward path for a rising China, and some of the risks and challenges the country, and the world, would face along the way.  Mark Daniell’s chapter entitled ‘China On My Mind’ set out many of the issues arising – large and small- in an extraordinarily  prescient manner.
