Learning Methodology
The Integrated Legacy Strategy™ Framework
Only a small percentage of legacy families have a thoughtful, comprehensive, long-term strategy to realize the full aspirations of their families. The Integrated Legacy Strategy (ILS) learning methodology is unique because it emphasizes both “hard” and “soft” principles to help you build a realistic multi-generational legacy strategy. The hard issues—asset structures, business analysis, investment tactics, and risk management priorities—can not be fully understood without considering the human side. Family history, culture, values, individuals, relationships and communications can all influence, and in some cases determine, a family’s strategic success or failure. The Integrated Legacy Strategy framework will provide insight, examples, and practical guidance on how to create your family’s unique legacy strategy. Multiple Modes of Legacy Learning
Individual lessons consist of videos, reading materials, examples and templates. Materials are available on-demand and are organized by subject area so you can learn at your own pace.
Organized courses combine lessons to add depth and context to a subject area. The curricula give members structure, support and an opportunity to engage with expert instructors through blended learning modes, such as interactive webinars.
Organized courses build upon individual lessons with the addition of relevant textbooks and comprehensive CourseBooks. Textbooks provide the general structure and organization for the course. CourseBooks contain specific materials associated with each course, including samples and templates.
Organized courses are available on-demand and are periodically supported by webinars and other real-life elements. You can participate in any course at your own pace, but to get the most out of a course, you can synchronize your progress with the available course webinars.
