In the Learning Center, you will find an extensive library of legacy learning courseware to help you craft the right learning experience for your family. In addition to the Individual Lessons, Organized Courses and Customized Family Learning Programs described in more detail below, there are also a number of other resources available to members and users of this e-learning initiative. These other resources supplement the courses, but also create a wider range of channels for learning for your family, including:
- A 10+ book Raffles Family Wealth and Legacy series from expert authors on high priority legacy topics
- Webinars and podcasts which explore critical issues with global thought leaders in Q&A and other formats
- Articles and interviews with external media channels and forums
- Workshops in major cities around the world to enhance the online learning experience with our senior team of experts
- Other resources and learning opportunities which will be developed over time and in concert with your own thoughts and recommendations
Individual Lessons
Select a single class or design your own series of lessons a la carte from our library of videos and reading materials. Each lesson covers a single topic and comprises a 5- to 10-minute video with accompanying documents. Mix and match prepared lessons from the ILS course, advanced Master Classes or introductory NextGen materials to build the right program to suit your family’s needs. All content for individual lessons is available on-demand, so you and your family can learn at your convenience.
Organized Courses
Follow a dedicated sequence of lessons and participate with other members of the community in any one of our nineteen organized courses. Choose from the core Integrated Legacy Strategy (ILS) course, any of the specialized MasterClass courses, or four introductory classes in the NextGen section. Family office staff and professional advisors can also sign up for the special programs assembled to meet their specific educational and training needs. ILS is a high-level overview that spans multiple subject areas. MasterClass courses explore each subject area in depth.
The materials in NextGen Education and Leadership Development are streamlined for new leaders, members of the next generation, family office staff members, professional advisors, students or extended family members. A series of principles and step-by-step approaches provide the structure for each course. Course materials include selected video lessons, reading materials, podcasts, webinars and a dedicated CourseBook. Each CourseBook contains a list of selected video e-lessons, video summaries, associated reading materials, key questions, examples of essential documents and easy-to-use templates to help you build your legacy strategy.
There is also a full textbook associated with many of our courses, authored by members of our expert team, to provide a comprehensive background on the subject matters addressed in the course. Webinars are scheduled throughout the year to answer questions on course content and provide guidance on course progress, so be sure to check the schedule for these opportunities to support your own progress and schedule your courses to align with each webinar and feedback opportunity. Customized Family Learning Programs*
Supplement your virtual learning experience with a custom-designed program specific to the learning goals of your family. Engage renowned subject matter experts to tailor content focused on building your family strategy, education and development programs. Customized Learning Programs and Bespoke Master Classes can be organized as a blend of virtual and in-person education. We will work closely with you to design educational materials specific to your circumstances, deliver the courseware at your convenience and coach your family members along the way.
